Pastor's Corner

Hello, I am Rob Hoffman, the pastor at Hindman UMC. I just arrived in Hindman in June of 2011. Since then, I have come to love Knott County, Hindman and this church. This is a church that is full of life and love. It is a place where people gather to worship God, encourage each other through prayer and study, and work together to share God’s love with our neighbors. We rely on God’s Word to instruct us and the Holy Spirit to guide us as we engage reason, tradition, and experience. We do all of this with open hearts, open minds and open doors.

We have learning and service opportunities for all ages with classes, prayer groups and outreach programs going on all the time. We place an emphasis on ministry to young people and have a lot to offer families with children. If you have felt a stirring in your heart to get back to church, I suggest you check out Hindman UMC.
